How it works?
Acoustic Wave treatment uses the natural repair mechanisms of the human body. The stimulus produced by the Acoustic Waves is transformed into chemical-biological activity, a phenomenon known as mechanotransduction.
The propagation of Acoustic Waves takes place according to acoustic-optical laws. A variation in acoustic properties, such as sound density or sound velocity of the interfaces between various tissues (skin, fat cells or muscles), creates a jump in acoustic impedance with a consequent release of energy. This phenomenon produces biomechanical effects such as the contraction of lymphangions and improved permeability of the cell membrane with temporary increase in local blood circulation.
In medical equipment, the synergy between Planar and Radial Acoustic Waves is exploited.
Planar Acoustic Waves are produced by high-tech generators and can work deeply over large parts of the body. By applying a special focal spacer to the handpiece, it is possible to work in a targeted manner on particularly fibrotic areas.
Radial Acoustic Waves, on the other hand, are generated mechanically by a projectile repeatedly subjected to acceleration by compressed air. Upon impact of the bullet with a transmitter, energy is inserted into the tissue. Various types of transmitters enable different structures to be treated.

Skin Toning & Firming
Skin ageing is a complex and gradual phenomenon that involves changes at different skin levels: such changes not only cause the skin to sag and “structurally collapse”, but also result in the formation of wrinkles.
With advancing age, the epidermis becomes thinner, cell renewal slows down, and it becomes harder to retain moisture.
In the dermis, the production of hyaluronic acid, collagen fibres and elastin (substances which help maintain skin tone, firmness and elasticity) gradually decreases.

The skin is a very important organ for our body and at the same time very delicate (especially if we are talking about women’s skin). Often, during the various stages of life: adolescent development, pregnancy and breastfeeding, hormonal changes, diets, intense sports activity, etc. …, the skin undergoes stress that causes the onset of annoying scarring, and so-called “streaks”, more commonly known as stretch marks.
We know that stretch marks and scars are two imperfections that are difficult to treat because the skin structure is modified and loses its original conformation.

Often, after standard liposuction treatment (suction of excess fat through a cannula), the area under treatment may be non-homogeneous and with the presence of residues of subcutaneous non-compact fat accumulation, resulting, to the naked eye and to the touch, as decidedly unaesthetic and unpleasing.
