How it works?
Profhilo works to naturally restore hyaluronic levels causing an immediate tightening of the skin. Added hydration allows patients to easily achieve a healthier glowing skin tone and smoother texture. While traditional dermal fillers also involve injecting hyaluronic acid into the treatment area, Profhilo differs in that it doesn’t give the volume that fillers provide, and it doesn’t change the structure or movement of your face. It is simply about rehydrating the skin and making it appear more radiant.

Profhilo is the first BDDE-free stabilised injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) based product for treating skin laxity. With one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market (64mg / 2ml) it not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also re-models the ageing and sagging tissue. Profhilo also boosts collagen and elastin production through the slow release of Hyaluronic Acid, which has a lifting and tightening effect and leads to a softer and more even skin tone as well as an improved overall skin quality.

Profhilo is fantastic for those with tired, dull and ageing skin as it provides overall more plump and luminous skin.

The Treatment?
During a Profhilo treatment, hyaluronic acid, is injected into several different points within the target area just below the skin’s surface. It works by delving down below the surface of the skin, where it spreads and takes hold of the moisture from within. The substance then actually conditions the skin from the inside out.

For the face, we use the BAP technique with 5 injection sites on each side of the face to maximise the diffusion of the HA. As a stabilised product Profhilo lasts in the skin around 28 days during which time the stimulation of 4 different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release of HA. The result – skin that is firmer, hydrated and glowing!

There is minimal downtime or discomfort. For best results 2 treatments are recommended, one month apart, and results can last for up to 6 months.
