“My experience at Surface clinic with Roxy and her staff has been amazing. I had been to several dermatologists prior to discovering surface clinic with no satisfactory results. When i first had consultation with Roxy, she advised me that the treatment i was after works for some and doesn’t work for others. She suggested a less expensive alternative to begin with. I went away and had time to reflect. 4 months later i contacted Roxy to say i was happy to give the treatment a go ahead and i fully understood the cons and pros. Staff were amazing and polite, i travel for about an hour to get my treatments, sometimes it’s out of my control, i give myself enough time to make it there on time, however, i have had times when i was late (once or twice) and i was the last appointment of the day. I had these permanent eye bags which didn’t improve as I got older and to make things worse now I have these wrinkles appearing around my eyes making me look old and tired. Also being a ex smoker I lost my volume in the lips which is another thing I didnt like about myself. I was very nervous to have Botox and fillers due to hearing and seeing horror stories and worried that it may change the way I look for the worse. I then researched the clinics closest to me and one of which was Surface clinic. I had several consultations at other clinics over the last few months but I didn’t feel that they were right for me. I then contacted surface clinic and I spoke to the receptionist she put me at ease and booked me in with Rukhsana khan who is a medical health care professional. I met Rukhsana she was so nice and friendly. She listened to my concerns and assessed me if the treatment was right for me. She educated me about the ageing process and showed me some of her clients results. She explained everything in detail about all the associated risks and the procedure it’s self. She showed me a cannula and explained why she uses this instead of needle. Also she could dissolve the filler of an side effect did occur which was very reassuring for me. She was very thorough and was not pushy to make a sale and she gave me time to think about it. After a few days I plucked up the courage and I had my treatment the procedure itself was comfortable and rukhsana took great care and made sure the that I was happy with the final results. I must say Rukhsana was very confident and calm during the treatment. I then had my two week review and I had no bruising with very little swelling around my eyes and lips. The Botox around eyes worked very well. I thought I may need more filler to my eyes but Rukhsana advised me against it as it was not needed and it looked natural. “I came here to get lip filler treatment. I had been insecure about my top lip being much smaller than my bottom lip. I had spent most of my late teens and early twenties over-lining them. I only got 0.7ml and it has made a huge difference. A little goes a long way. I wanted to achieve symmetry and more natural plumpness. I was able to get a call back straightaway and had my consultation booked within 2 days. I was told about all the risks in detail & what would and would not work on my lip shape etc. I was given an appropriate aftercare advice on a printed sheet. I went to a few consultations elsewhere in West Yorkshire, and I trusted the advice from here the most! Other clinics advised certain techniques that may have not potentially worked. I’m glad I went to many to try and see the best solution. I decided to go ahead and choose surface clinic as I trusted their suggestions the most, as theirs made the most sense to me. I am only 24 so I am very familiar with plenty of young girls, and even my friends getting their lips done from individuals who advertise themselves on instagram. It’s more common for girls our age to go to them rather than go to private clinics. These services on instagram tend to cost only £150 whereas professional clinics charge around £270. But for me and in my experience spending this much is so much more worth it. The filler is going to last longer. Not only did I have an in-depth consultation for 30 minutes, but I also had a lovely review and checkup today. What I like about surface clinic is the honesty and the refusal to give me more filler if my lips cannot take it. This is exactly what I was looking for a good reputable practitioner who was truthful, but could also provide great results! I am so happy with the results they have made such a difference but they also remain appearing so natural. I love putting on my makeup now especially when it comes to doing my lips. “Well, Surface Clinic.. you deserve a lot of recognition. From following a lot of beauty influencers on social media you tend to easily get hooked onto their favourite places. I decided to go to a clinic that most of the influences were raving about.. biggest mistake of my life. I only wanted a small change which was my chin as I felt it wasn’t in proportion with the rest of my face. The …˜inexperienced practitioner’ explained that jawline filler would make more of a difference to my concerns of profile balancing. I decided to take her advice as I thought she was right. She did my jaw first and then my chin. She did not massage the areas, she just injected and passed me the mirror. I looked like a man. My jaw was square and looked masculine. It didn’t look contoured, it wasn’t like the influencer’s jaw I saw on Instagram. I told her I didn’t like what she did to my jaw and she explained that I would have to come back in 2 weeks if I wanted to get it dissolved. She could tell that I was in complete shock and I was on the verge of crying because it completely changed my whole face, I looked horrible. She said she was not able to do anything at this point so I went home and cried. Days had gone by, I was phoning up local clinics asking if they could dissolve my filler ASAP. I was getting rejected from everywhere, all of them told me to go back to the place where I got the filler. I was at the lowest point of my life. I couldn’t leave the house and had to wear hoodies to cover my masculine jaw. I am a very confident girl and it takes a lot for me to get upset, but this experience tipped me off the iceberg. After no luck of local clinics, I decided to broaden my search and then I found Surface Clinic. It was the first clinic that came up. I rang up, explained to the receptionist what had happened and how I wanted to get rid of the filler ASAP. The professionalism of the receptionist was what made me feel so much better. She helped me a lot and gave me a lot of information about fillers and how it takes time to adjust to the face. At this point, I felt a sense of relief that someone was willing to look at what had happened and help me. She told me not to worry and said that Rukhsana could help me. My appointment was 1 week after having my filler. I remember being seated by the wonderful and talented Rukhsana. I told her about my experience and she could see how badly placed the filler was. One side was more filled than the other. Rukhsana carefully listened to my concerns and could tell that this was really affecting my confidence. She said she was able to help me with this and began the dissolving procedure. She instantly made me feel at ease and I knew I was in safe hands. Once it had been done I had to remain in the clinic for a while just so she could monitor if the filler affected me. 24 hours after the procedure, I woke up in the morning and looked in the mirror. My face was back to normal. I honestly could not believe it. My actual face was back. The masculine, square looking jaw had disappeared. It was like magic. I have just completed a 10-week course of Emerald Laser Therapy at Surface Clinic with outstanding results. The clinic is owned and run by a lovely husband and wife team. The Emerald Laser course is unique in this area and is designed to help reduce fat cells and re-sculpt the body. The treatment is evidence-based, and the programme on offer is holistic and tailored to the needs of the individual. My journey over ten weeks focused on treatments in clinic, lifestyle changes, and a personal commitment that can be carried forward. The results of the programme supported me to lose 10kg in weight. My visceral fat reading dropped from 10 to 7 (now within healthy limits). My total body fat has dropped from 27.6 to 19.6. I have dropped 40cm from my abdominal circumference, and my BMI has dropped from 27.7 to 23.5. My self-esteem has improved, and I feel better in my clothes, energised and vital. “Rukhsana is very amazing she settled me and calmed my nerves as i wanted lip fillers but i was very scared as i didn’t want the fake duck lips and she went through the whole procedure with me including what the possible side effects may be and the results. As i had the fillers in i did feel scared due to the swelling but she also did mention give it 2 weeks to see your results and less than 2 weeks i saw a massive improvement i am amazed by the results i absoloutley love them! “I had bad patches of melasma on my face and was tired of using makeup to cover up I used all sorts of high end products saying I’ll see a difference but unfortunately nothing worked until I came across surface clinic. I had a hydra-facial, which I have had many times previously elsewhere, however I did not receive the same results as I did here.
